Larry Gibb, Partner

Larry Gibb has over 30 years of experience in the commercial and private banking sectors. He has particular strength in the private banking and trust arenas, building successful teams in these practices. Prior to co-founding LGA, Larry ran the trust and banking businesses for Merrill Lynch and Prudential Securities.


Ian G. Hassett, Partner

Ian has over 25 years of Private Wealth Management experience. Prior to becoming a partner at LGA, he was the Global Market Manager for Northern Europe for Citigroup Private Bank. Earlier in his career Ian was President of Prudential Securities International Division.


Curtis W. Lockwood, Partner

Curt has been in the private banking business and executive search for over 30 years. His particular skills are building businesses and identifying and placing key talent. Prior to founding LGA, Curt built The Consulting Group, a specialist search firm in private banking, as well as holding senior positions at Prudential Securities and Shearson, Loeb, Rhodes Inc


Philip M. Waterman, Jr., Non Executive Chairman

Based in New York, Philip Waterman currently serves as Vice Chairman Emeritus of Citi Private Bank .
Mr. Waterman headed “Private Capital Partners”, Citi Private Bank’s unit devoted to handling ultra high net worth clients which also incorporated the bank’s Art, Family, Philanthropic, Farm and Multiple Residence Advisory Services and Private Equity. He also had global responsibility for the cross-selling of products throughout the Citigroup network.

Phil has been in the financial services industry for almost five decades and has spent more than thirty years working in predecessor firms to Smith Barney reaching back to CBWL-Hayden Stone in the early Seventies. He opened Shearson's Asian offices in Hong Kong, Singapore , Tokyo and  Beijing and  in the Eighties was on their Board of Directors, headed  Shearson’s  International Division, served as President of Shearson Lehman Trading Company, and President of Shearson’s Correspondent Clearing Division.  He served as Smith Barney’s Director of Futures and Foreign Exchange businesses, and Chairman of their Futures Asset Management Company.  Phil was also a member of several U.S. Commodity Exchanges, and a member of the Board of Directors of Smith Barney and the “Futures Industry Association.” 

During 2001 Phil, as Division Executive, headed the Private Bank in Europe, the Mid-East and Africa while living in Geneva.
